We develop software that connects physical devices and sensors to operational systems. This can make equipment readings, location events or environmental conditions available to staff through dashboards and alerts. The design considers the device hardware, power supply and available connectivity as well as the cloud application. Some processing or buffering can happen near the device so a temporary network interruption does not discard every reading. Device identity, configuration, updates and data quality are planned alongside the information the business needs to act on.
Monitor conditions at a remote storage site
Temperature sensors could send readings to a local gateway, which buffers them during a connection outage and forwards them when service returns. A dashboard can distinguish a threshold breach from a missing or stale reading, helping staff decide whether to inspect the storage area or the monitoring equipment.
